Philip Coburn is a filmmaker based in London, UK and founder of MoonTree Films. A bold new voice in cinema, Philip is know for high concept flights of imagination, intricate character studies and immersive world building. He started his career making music videos and fashion promos for up and coming artists. His debut horror / thriller Cortisol was a finalist in the Motor City Nightmares festival in Detroit.

Philip has written and directed a range of short films to date exploring genres from the comedic Antoines Play to the pop culture drama SnapShots. However it is in the thriller genres that Philip is most at home, most recently the claustrophobic, chilling Don't Leave about a hit and run driver and the bloody, western themed revenge thriller And So Its Come To This.

Philip is currently in post production on a major new science fiction short film titled Listen and developing his sci-fi debut feature.
